    Transforming Internal Activities of Business Process Models to Services Compositions

    As a service composition language, BPEL imposes as constraint that a business process model should consist only of activities for interacting with other business processes. BPEL provides limited support for implementing internal activities, i.e. activities that are performed by a single business process without involvement of other business processes. BPEL is hence not suitable to implement internal activities that include complex data manipulation. There are a number of options to make BPEL able to implement such internal activities. In this paper we analyse those options based on their feasibility, efficiency, reusability, portability and merging. The analysis indicates that delegating internal activities’ functionality to other services is the best option. We therefore present an approach for transforming internal activities to service invocations. The application of this approach on a business process model results in a service composition model that consists only of activities for interaction

    Model-driven design, simulation and implementation of service compositions in COSMO

    The success of software development projects to a large extent depends on the quality of the models that are produced in the development process, which in turn depends on the conceptual and practical support that is available for modelling, design and analysis. This paper focuses on model-driven support for service-oriented software development. In particular, it addresses how services and compositions of services can be designed, simulated and implemented. The support presented is part of a larger framework, called COSMO (COnceptual Service MOdelling). Whereas in previous work we reported on the conceptual support provided by COSMO, in this paper we proceed with a discussion of the practical support that has been developed. We show how reference models (model types) and guidelines (design steps) can be iteratively applied to design service compositions at a platform independent level and discuss what tool support is available for the design and analysis during this phase. Next, we present some techniques to transform a platform independent service composition model to an implementation in terms of BPEL and WSDL. We use the mediation scenario of the SWS challenge (concerning the establishment of a purchase order between two companies) to illustrate our application of the COSMO framework

    Currently the organization is facing challenges due to the Covid19 pandemic which has caused changes in work patterns for all members of the organization. The priority of management is to give more attention to information security, especially for members and government organizations in general. Various information security practices have been carried out, but there are obstacles that occur such as the lack of awareness of information security, work behavior, work culture, and the lack of human resources available and this can have a negative impact on the level of information security concern in the organization. Information security practices carried out by management do not always have an impact on changes in the behavior of organizational members. From the data obtained, there are many information security practices that may have been implemented by management. But do members of the organization care about the practice. Therefore, it is important to conduct research with the aim of knowing the practice of information security concern that has been carried out by management whether it has an impact on organizational members, especially the organization itself. This study used qualitative and quantitative interpretive approaches as a data collection process in three government organizations. Qualitative is used to obtain data from management and processed using the SAP-LAP model through interviews. Then an online survey was conducted with members of the organization to determine the impact of implementing information security care practices on the organization. The results show that organizational members have a high level of concern for the management's information security practices

    THE ROLE OF BLOCKCHAIN TO SOLVE PROBLEMS OF DIGITAL RIGHT MANAGEMENT (DRM)

    In recent years, internet user was grown significantly. Even though many problems arise due to internet abuse. The sectors affected by the internet is digital assets or digital right. Various ways are done to solve the violation. One of that ways is to develop digital protection or Digital Right Management (DRM). However, the DRM technology has several disadvantages such as there is no way to track the leak and prove a copyright violation, the user is unable to authenticate the content since the content source is unknown, there is no user restriction to download the content, the system isn’t provided the feature to alienate ore transfer ownership the content to other, and the system using centralize model that requires many issues, especially trust issue. Fortunately, the blockchain is a decentralized, secure, reliable, immutable, and tamper-proof paradigm. The blockchain is also built upon public key cryptography and has a smart contract that can solve or complement DRM problems. This paper discusses how the blockchain solves DRM problems. The results show that blockchain solves DRM problems. A narrative literature review was conducted with several stages, including a source search of papers, articles and news articles on digital rights management and blockchain in the last five years. The next step is to identify keywords related to the topic, to review the sources, and to compile the paper

    Development of Transformations from Business Process Models to Implementations by Reuse

    This paper presents an approach for developing transformations from business process models to implementations that facilitates reuse. A transformation is developed as a composition of three smaller tasks: pattern recognition, pattern realization and activity transformation. The approach allows one to reuse the definition and implementation of pattern recognition and pattern realization in the development of transformations targeting different business process modeling and implementation languages. In order to decouple pattern recognition and pattern realization, the approach includes a pattern language to represent the output of the pattern recognition task, which forms the input of the pattern realization task

    Abstract. E-commerce transactions in Indonesia reached up to IDR 68 trillion in 2016. The use of e-commerce is influenced by culture which consists of five dimensions such as power distance, individualism, masculinity, uncertainty avoidance, and long-term orientation. This paper proposes a model to investigate influence of culture on the intentions and individual behavior using e-commerce. This model is developed by adopting the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB). Culture dimensions are used as indicators of support in the model. The theory can be used to examine and predict factors that influence intentions and individual behavior using e-commerce. These factors can be used to create a new marketing strategy for business people. In an academic area, this model can be used as an alternative model to predict intentions and individual behavior using information technology, especially e-commerce.Keywords: Culture dimensions, Theory of Planned Behavior, e-commerce. Abstrak. Di Indonesia, transaksi e-commerce pada tahun 2016 mencapai 68 triliun rupiah. Penggunaan e-commerce ini tentu sangat dipengaruhi oleh budaya masyarakat. Budaya terdiri dari lima dimensi, yaitu power distance, individualism, masculinity, uncertainty avoidance, dan long-term orientation. Makalah ini bertujuan mengajukan model untuk mengetahui pengaruh budaya terhadap niat dan perilaku individu menggunakan e-commerce. Model yang dikembangkan mengadopsi dari Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), karena TPB dapat digunakan untuk menguji dan melakukan prediksi terhadap perilaku individu dalam pengunaan e-commerce. Dimensi budaya digunakan sebagai indikator pada model TPB untuk mendukung pengujian dan prediksi niat dan perilaku individu dalam menggunakan e-commerce. Bagi para pelaku bisnis yang menggunakan e-commerce sebagai media penjualan, faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh pada model TPB ini dapat dijadikan target dalam membuat strategi pemasaran untuk meningkatkan penjualan sedagnkan dalam bidang akademik, makalah ini menyediakan model alternatif yang dapat digunakan untuk memprediksi dan menguji perilaku individu dalam penggunaan teknologi informasi khususnya e-commerce.     Platform adalah bisnis yang menciptakan nilai dengan memfasilitasi interaksi langsung antara dua atau lebih jenis pelanggan yang berbeda Peta model bisnis platform merupakan alat yang digunakan model bisnis platform sebagai alat yang mengidentifikasi semua pihak penting dalam platform serta penciptaan  dan pertukaran nilainya. Perumusan strategi platform memerlukan evaluasi strategi hasilnya yang dapat dibantu oleh konsultan sehingga strategi yang dibuat tepat sasaran. Belum adanya aplikasi yang menghubungkan perumus strategi dan konsultan dapat menjadikan strategi yang dibuat tidak tepat sasaran. Makalah ini mengembangkan aplikasi berbasis web yang mengimplementasikan peta model bisnis platform sebagai acuan dalam merumuskan strategi platform. Aplikasi menghubungkan perumus strategi dan konsultan dalam perumusan dan evaluasi strategi platform. Metode Waterfall digunakan dalam pengembangan aplikasi, yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi dan pengujian. Pengembangan aplikasi memanfaatkan bahasa pemrograman PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) dengan framework Laravel, Bootstrap sebagai framework CSS (Cascading Style Sheet), dan MySQL sebagai manajemen basis data. Aplikasi dapat dijalankan sesuai kebutuhan karena sudah diuji dengan pengujian fungsional sehingga dapat membantu perumusan strategi platform dan evaluasi strategi platform

    Perkembangan dan perubahan teknologi informasi saat ini harus dapat dimanfaatkan secara maksimal oleh organisasi. Informasi merupakan salah satu aset yang paling utama dalam mendukung kemajuan dan pencapaian tujuan suatu organisasi. Pengukuran kinerja dari suatu organisasi perlu dilakukan untuk memastikan ketercapaian yang telah ditetapkan. Dalam proses pengukuran kinerja diperlukan data dan informasi yang diambil dari bagian yang terkait ataupun keseluruhan. Hasil dari monitoring kinerja dapat langsung di lihat oleh user yang berkepentingan secara efektif dan efisien. Dashboard merupakan suatu alat yang dapat membantu pimpinan dari perguruan tinggi untuk memonitoring dan mengevaluasi kinerja organisasinya dengan menyajikan informasi Key Performance Indicators (KPI) dalam bentuk antar muka visual secara sekilas dalam satu layar, sehingga data dapat dianalisa dengan lebih efektif dan efisien. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dan studi kasus. Studi literatur dilakukan untuk mengkaji berbagai konsep mengenai dashboard, KPI dan visualisasi informasi. KPI yang digunakan dalam pengembangan dashboard di LPPM menggunakan indikator dari kontrak manajemen pada program customer dan learning growth yang diterapkan di ST3 Telkom Purwokerto. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model waterfall pada penyampaian dashboard ke user yang telah dilakukan dengan 2 iterasi, dashboard ini sudah memenuhi kebutuhan dari LPPM dalam memantau kinerjanya.Perkembangan dan perubahan teknologi informasi saat ini harus dapat dimanfaatkan secara maksimal oleh organisasi.     DISASTER RESPONSE MODELING BASE ON LANDSLIDE EARLY WARNING USING CASE MANAGEMENT MODEL AND NOTATION

    There are a few handling steps in the emergency response to landslides that need thorough explanation. The flexibility of emergency response situations is ineffectively supported by traditional modeling methodologies because they are excessively inflexible. Companies have traditionally modeled their business processes using the Business Process Management Approach and Notation (BPMN) model. For design case management, such as the emergency reaction to a landslide disaster, BPMN modeling is unsuitable. because the BPMN modeling focuses how business processes flow inside a company. The Case Management Model and Notation (CMMN), the newest modeling approach from the Object Management Group (OMG), was launched in 2013 with the purpose of completing the BPMN modeling approach. The unstructured and adaptable CMMN claims to be able to handle urgent situations. This study's intention is to develop a CMMN model of a landslide emergency reaction scenario based on an emergency alert from an Early Warning System (EWS) sensor. In order to acquire the qualitative data for this study, the researcher first conducted a literature review. Then used the interview and observation methods to gather data, and from this data, we created the model using the CMMN modeling approach. The Yogyakarta Special Region Disaster Management Agency's (BPBD DIY) data flow of a disaster management information system, which was already operational, was analyzed by researchers. Then, the researchers used CMMN to model the data in order to find out opportunities to improve the disaster management information system already in use at BPBD DIY. Two CMMN models—the BPBD DIY disaster management information system model and the recommendation model for system improvements—were created in this study. The analysis of the current disaster management information system model resulted in the recomendation of this model. A prototype of feature recommendation is created as part of this research and given to specialists in natural disasters for model validation
